Lawn Aeration

What is Lawn Aeration?

The main purpose of aeration is to improve airflow of your lawn and soil underneath. During the aeration process, the soil is punctured with small holes that allow air and water to reach the grass roots. This process helps your grass grow deeper roots, which produces a stronger and healthier lawn.

Why Should you aerate your lawn?

Lawn aeration helps to alleviate soil compaction. When your lawn soil is compacted it prevents air, nutrients, and water to property circulate through your soil. Seeding is a perfect add on service for lawns that are sparse. Aeration creates a perfect environment for seeds to germinate. Ask us about seeding services to see if your lawn needs seed.

When & how often should it be done?

We recommend aerating your lawn in either the spring or fall when temperatures are mild. This should be done once per season to promote a healthier thicker lawn.
